Seventeen: 1. Ten is the number of full judgment 2. Seven is the number of full blessing Genesis 8:3: "The water receded steadily from the earth.  At the end of the hundred and fifty days the water had gone down, and on the 17th day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat." This seventh month (of the Jewish civil year) later became the first month of the religious year at the time of the Exodus.  It was called the month of Nissan. The 7th civil month became the 1st religious month. The Passover lamb was slain on the 14th of this month.  Jesus came out of the grave three days later on the 17th day of the first month.  Ark landed on the 17th of the 7th month of the civil year which is the same date as when Jesus came out of the grave on the 17th day of the 1st month of the religious year.
