Warning to Fourth Generation for
Following Idols
Exodus
20:4 “You shall not make for yourself an
idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the
waters below. You shall not bow down to
them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the
children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those
who hate me, but sowing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and
keep my commandments.”
- God will observe the
sin into the 3rd and 4th generation
- If the culture does
not make a correction that culture will be eliminated

Proverbs
30:11-14
“There are those who curse their fathers and
do not bless their mothers;
Those who are pure in their own eyes
and yet are not cleansed of their filth;
Those whose eyes are ever so haughty,
whose glances are so disdainful;

- “There are those” and
“Those” is the word or statement “Generation” in Hebrew.
- First generation
rejects their father and mother’s godly heritage
- Second generation
establishes their own philosophy and false world view. They replace the
truth
- Third generation are
arrogant and self-imposing. They
remove the truth.
- Fourth generation
destroys the weak and needy to “feed” themselves or to meet their own
needs to a greater level. They are
a violent (“hamas”) generation
- The Four Generations:
