Galyn Wiemers is the founder of Generation Word, a bible teaching ministry. His teaching materials are currently being studied in churches and seminaries in more than 30 countries around the world, and his online videos, e-books and .mp3 sermons have been downloaded by people in 60 different countries.
He and his wife Toni were married in 1981. They have six sons, five daughters-in-law and four grandsons and three granddaughters. (more here)
In April of 2002 Galyn and Toni started Generation Word Bible teaching ministry
in their house. Galyn has retired from teaching full time in a public school
as a shop teacher (1983-2023). Justin, 40, the oldest son, served four years in the United States Marines; Paul, 38, lives in New Zealand; Benjamin, 35, is an officer in the United States Air Force; Nathan, 33, is back from Brazil and is working in Michigan; Zac, 31, is a high school literature teacher and cross-country coach in Kansas City after working in Taiwan for five years; Jacob, 29, is in the United States Air Force. Galyn teaches for Generation Word three times a week. Toni has retired after working in public schools through forty years.

Galyn Wiemers, was a Shop Teacher in Dallas Center-Grimes Public School from 2001-2023 and began teaching and coaching in public schools in 1983.
Galyn retired from teaching in the public schools in June of 2023. |
